09-06-2019 NIU Huskie Challenge

The Skyhawk men and women ran in the NIU Huskie Classic in DeKalb on Friday night. In a mostly Division I meet, the Skyhawks ran some pretty great times. 

In the women's race, Haley Weidner (So.) finished as the first non-Division 1 runner (26:09.1, 67th place) and Nataliegh Nugent (So.) finished as the fourth non-Division 1 runner (27:19.8, 75th place) as the award winners for the Skyhawks. Xheneta Beqiri was the third runner for the Skyhawks in 30:03.9 (82nd) followed by Kelynn Boyle as the final Skyhawk runner in 30:36.1 (84th).

In the men's race, Dillion Forbeck was the top finisher for the Skyhawks in 71st place (32:00.2) with Ruben Leal and Dylan Pavlak finishing in 33:23.9 in 73rd place and 34:42.3 in 74th place respectively.
